For the Eastern Dance 2017-2018 here are the following Rules and Guidelines: 

Please note: All All Star dance teams will need to be registered as a member through USASF, as all Eastern Dance competitions are USASF sanctioned events. For any questions please visit USASF’s Membership Page to find your USASF representative.

What if I have a question regarding the legality of a skill?

For All Star Teams:

For questions regarding the legality of a specific skill, etc, for the Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom, Kick, Contemporary/Lyrical, Variety and Prep Divisions please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Skill videos may be submitted to safety.dance@usasf.net.
  • Emails must have a division, category and USASF Member number.
  • Full routines will not be viewed.  Only submissions from USASF members will be reviewed.

For questions regarding the legality of a specific skill, etc, for the Prop/Production Division please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Skill videos may be submitted to tsmith@americheer.com or sara@ecaeda.com.
  • Emails must have a division and category.
  • Full routines will not be viewed.  

For School/Rec Teams:

Do I get my score sheet after we perform?

No, you do not get your score sheet after you perform. Score sheets are collected after the Awards Ceremony by the COACH. The score sheets will only be given to a coach, not a competitor or parent.

What if I have a question regarding my score?

Questions or concerns must be in a written format and emailed to tsmith@americheer.com or sara@ecaeda.com within the Friday following the competition. Your questions or concerns will be addressed by the Wednesday after.

What are the rules for the Worlds Bids held at the Buckeye Open National Dance Championship?

AmeriDance follows the 2016-2017 USASF Dance Worlds Bids Guidelines and are offering the following bids in 2017!

  • 2 Partial Paid
  • 4 At Large Bids
